Thao Duong

PhD Candidate in Economics at Texas A&M University

Welcome to my website! I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Economics at Texas A&M University.

My research interests are energy and environmental economics, industrial organization, and applied microeconomics. My research addresses pressing energy and environmental economic questions using empirical industrial organization methodology and causal inference. I investigate how government policies can effectively impact consumer decisions to adopt green technology, with a focus on the electric vehicle industry. In addition, I examine how policies tackling pollution could improve human capital accumulation.
